The way you breathe and your nervous system reflect the conditions you have experienced. Suppressed emotions often show up as fatigue, overwhelm, reactivity, anxiety, trouble sleeping, or digestive issues. Recent medical research proves the link that suppressed emotions increases inflammation markers in the body, which often leads to poor health and disease.
This is where breathwork is an incredible tool – as the main cleaning mechanism of the body - it allows you to gently access and release this stored stress at the nervous system level. This allows unconscious patterns to be brought into awareness, creating lasting change.
This will be a transformational workshop of self-discovery to give you a renewed perspective on life and deeper connection within. Along with a lying down breathwork journey there will be an intention setting and a debriefing practice to ensure you feel safe and supported throughout. No prior breathwork experience is needed.
This deeply healing experience will be led by Alisa, a fully qualified and registered breathwork therapist trained under the Australian Breathwork Association. She is also a professional member of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance. Alisa works in private practice and also consults to trauma hospitals and wellness clinics around Australia.
