Beginners Yoga Brisbane : 6-Week Course (Spring Term)

Join Kerrie for our beginners course held once a quarter over 6 consecutive weeks in our Grange studio.  Each week we will focus on a specific group of poses including standing poses, balances, backbends, twists, hip openers and inversions. Our final class includes a full spectrum flow to bring it all together and give you the confidence to continue your yoga journey. We will teach you some basic yogic philosophy, pranayama (breath control), meditation & anatomy and show you pose modifications if you need them, enabling you to find your personal yoga practice in a safe and supportive environment. Our beginner course is designed with absolute beginners in mind but is also suitable for anyone wanting to gain a deeper understanding of the basics.  We take our time exploring alignment principles and finding a functional practice for every individual. All our classes are 60 or 75 minutes long to allow ample time for centring and relaxation at the beginning and end of each class. We recommend a regular yoga practice incorporating different styles of classes to help balance the yin and yang in our bodies and our lifestyles. I believe this has been a life changing experience.
